Account Aggregator (अकाउंट एग्रीगेटर)
An Account Aggregator is an RBI-licensed entity that, with your explicit consent, fetches your financial data such as bank statements from one institution and shares it with another, such as a lender assessing your application. AAs are data-blind — they transport encrypted data but cannot read or store it, and you can revoke consent at any time.
Worked example
Instead of uploading PDFs, you approve a consent request in the AA app your lender links to, sharing 6 months of statements from your salary account, one time only. The lender receives them directly from your bank, and you can see and revoke every consent in the AA app.
